December 1, 2011

Devoted exclusively to the international snack food industry, the Snack Food Association (SFA) will celebrate its 75th anniversary at SNAXPO 2012. The exposition will take place March 16-19 at the Phoenix Convention Center in downtown Phoenix, AZ.
SNAXPO 2012 is a full equipment show that will bring together owners, executives and buyers from around the world.
Because the show will be held in the midst of the US presidential primary election season, the featured keynote speaker will be former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, who sought the 2008 GOP nomination. Currently, he is a best-selling author and host of Fox News’ Huckabee
and ABC Radio’s Huckabee Report
Gov. Huckabee will present his insights and experiences from the American political system on Monday, March 19. The Bryce Corp., Memphis, TN, is sponsoring his address, which will headline a comprehensive program of industry experts and educational sessions designed to give industry executives and suppliers a competitive advantage in today’s rapidly changing marketplace.
On Sunday, March 18, a SymphonyIRI Group representative will present the 2011 State of the Industry report. The presentation will review industry developments during the past year as well as discuss trends expected in the coming year.
SNAXPO 2012 will also feature the 11th annual Latin American program, held in Spanish, on Friday, March 16. Latin American snack food executives will discuss important industry issues affecting their markets.
Morning educational sessions will precede the trade show opening on Saturday, March 17 and Sunday, March 18, offering attendees an opportunity to learn about major issues affecting their companies and their customers.
SNAXPO allows exhibitors face time with more than 1,500 domestic and international snack food professionals who are actively looking for new equipment, ingredients, products and services that will help them achieve greater efficiency and profitability for their companies.
For exhibitors, the event provides opportunities for one-on-one meetings with snack food professionals. In addition, general sessions, evening functions and special entertainment events such as the “Welcome to Phoenix” opening party at Phoenix Historic Heritage Square give exhibitors an opportunity to interact with customers and prospects in a relaxed social atmosphere.
At the expo, attendees can visit exhibitors from virtually every segment of the industry and learn about new products and services that can help drive their businesses forward. The educational events will provide opportunities for learning, and for networking during the social events — all in one of the Top 20 convention venues in the US.
