Shelby Weeda retiring from King's Hawaiian

TORRANCE, CALIF. — Shelby Weeda is retiring as president at King’s Hawaiian after nearly 30 years with the company.

"Shelby has been a driving force at King’s Hawaiian for nearly 30 years," said Mark Taira, chief executive officer. "During Shelby’s tenure with our company, King’s Hawaiian underwent tremendous growth with annual revenues increasing more than $110 million, new trade channels opened and overall brand presence increasing nationwide."
