CANTON, MASS. — Dunkin’ Donuts is introducing Wake-up Wrap, a 5-inch round tortilla served oven-toasted with half a scrambled egg and a slice of American cheese. A slice of bacon may be added to the 99c breakfast sandwich for an additional 30c.
Available between June 8 and mid-July at participating Dunkin’ Donuts, the sandwiches are the first at Dunkin’ to feature a tortilla and are part of a larger "Breakfast NOT Brokefast" campaign offering consumers less expensive food and beverage items.
"Consumers today have become much more aware of the economic issues that are facing them and their families," said Frances Allen, brand marketing officer for Dunkin’ Donuts. "With our new Wake-up Wrap and the ‘Breakfast NOT Brokefast’ campaign, we’re continuing to show Americans that they don’t need to spend a lot of money for a delicious breakfast away from home."
