U.S. comparable sales at McDonald’s rose 3.8% behind beverages, including new McCafe offerings such as Frappes, core products such as Chicken McNuggets, and an all-day, everyday value message.
European comparable sales were up 5.3% due to positive results in France, the United Kingdom, Germany and Russia, while comparable sales climbed 3.9% in Asia/Pacific/Middle East and Africa.
