PORTLAND, ORE. — Franz Bakery has introduced Franz Classic Artisan-Style bread in two varieties: Honey Multi-Grain and Whole Grain Buttermilk.

Honey Multi-Grain contains 120 calories, 3 grams of fiber, 5 grams of protein, 21 grams of whole grains and 140 mg of sodium in each slice.

Whole Grain Buttermilk has 110 calories, 3 grams of fiber, 4 grams of protein, 22 grams of whole grains and 140 mg of sodium in each slice.

“We realize that most consumers don’t have time to bake bread from scratch,” said Marc Albers, president of Franz Family Bakeries. “That is why we asked our bakers to come up with a unique line of classic, artisan-style breads for time-starved shoppers who want a delicious and hand-crafted product.”

The new Franz Classic Artisan-Style bread has a suggested retail price of $4.39 and is available where Franz products are sold in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Northern California and Montana.
