Pasta Prima launches two ravioli lines

BENICIA, CALIF. — Pasta Prima has introduced two refrigerated ravioli lines, a gluten free variety and an organic offering.
The gluten free product is available in two flavors, butternut squash and five cheese. To achieve the gluten free status it uses a blend of corn and rice flour.
The organic line is available in three flavors: spinach and cheese, Portobello mushroom and butternut squash.
“We’ve taken great care to ensure every ingredient we use is of the highest quality,” said Ryan Tu, president of the company. “Our culinary team then makes sure they’re perfectly balanced to deliver restaurant quality flavor right at home. Even in this value-oriented economy, we know consumers continue to seek out organic and gluten free products for their inherent health benefits — that’s why we’re pleased to offer these two new lines, both firsts for the refrigerated filled pasta category.”
The suggested retail price for a single package is between $3.99 and $4.99.
