McDonald’s testing expanded breakfast in Northeast

OAK BROOK, ILL. — McDonald’s Corp. is expanding its breakfast menu, including the addition of scones, banana bread, cheese Danish and muffins. The roll-out, which was first announced in The Boston Globe, is beginning in New England.

Unlike the traditional McDonald’s breakfast menu, which includes offerings such as oatmeal, pancakes, and the Egg McMuffin, the new pastry options will be offered throughout the day, not just during breakfast hours, The Boston Globe said.
