Gluten-free line extends to roll, pizza mixes

WEST HAVEN, CONN. — Watson Inc. has introduced a gluteNone roll and pizza mix for production of gluten-free items. The mix has been tested on commercial production lines. The Gluten Free Certification Organization has certified the mix as gluten-free.

West Haven-based Watson already offers a gluteNone bread mix and a gluteNone muffin mix. To further assist customers in gluten-free product creation, Watson may provide a range of mold inhibitors, formulation assistance and gluten-free market information. The company will be at Booth No. 2311 during the Institute of Food Technologists’ annual meeting and food exposition June 25-28 in Las Vegas.
