CHICAGO — The Institute of Food Technologists and the Food Processing Suppliers Association have agreed to co-locate the I.F.T.’s Food Expo and the F.P.S.A.’s Process Expo at Chicago’s McCormick Place beginning July 18-20, 2010. The two events will take place on separate floors at the convention center. The partnership will provide new opportunities to develop educational programs to expand food safety education throughout the food chain. The I.F.T. Food Expo annually draws more than 18,000 people. This year’s meeting and food exposition, "The Best of Food Thinking 2009," will take place June 6-9 in Anaheim, Calif. The F.P.S.A. Process Expo annually draws about 10,000 people. This year’s Process Expo is co-located with Pack Expo and scheduled for Oct. 5-7 in Las Vegas. For additional information on the organizations visit www.ift.org and www.fpsa.org.
