T.I.A. holding technical seminar in June

MCLEAN, VA. — The Tortilla Industry Association is holding its annual technical seminar in Anaheim, Calif., on June 3 and 4 at the Sheraton Park Resort.

The event is for owners, operators, plant managers and food engineers of tortilla producing companies or those who would like to enter this market.

The event will cover topics such as loss prevention and risk reduction, recent developments in H.A.C.C.P./G.M.P. and food safety, organic and kosher certification, in-plant efficiency and automation, corn tortilla sheeter adjustment, and more.
