SOLON, OHIO — Nestle USA’s baking division is recalling all varieties of the company’s Toll House brand of refrigerated cookie dough products. The company initiated the recall after being informed by the Food and Drug Administration and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention of a possible link between the refrigerated cookie dough products and reports of foodborne illness from the pathogen E. coli O157:H7.

Nestle said the E. coli strain has not been detected in any of its products and it is initiating the recall out of an abundance of caution. The products involved in the recall include all varieties of Nestle Toll House refrigerated Cookie Bar Dough, Cookie Dough Tub; Cookie Dough Tube; Limited Edition Cookie Dough items; Seasonal Cookie Dough and Ultimates Cookie Bar Dough.

No other Nestle Toll House brand products are impacted, including already baked Toll House cookies, according to the company.
