DECATUR, ILL. — Matthew J. Jansen and Matthew D. Bruns have been named to new positions at Archer Daniels Midland Co.

Mr. Jansen has been named president of ADM’s Oilseeds business. He will be responsible for all commercial activity, operations and production for the company’s Oilseeds business unit. Mr. Jansen joined ADM in 1989, and has held a variety of merchandising and management roles with the company, including president of ADM’s operations in South America and president of the company’s Grain Group. He most recently was vice-president of risk management and ethanol trading and sales.

Mr. Bruns was promoted to vice-president of Corn Processing. In his new role he will be responsible for ethanol trading and sales as well as the corn business unit’s commodity risk. He joined the company in 1995, and most recently he was vice-president of export trading for the company’s Grain Group. Earlier he held management roles in the company’s merchandising operations in Europe and China.
