PENNSAUKEN, N.J. — Vincent A. Melchiorre, executive vice-president of J&J Snack Foods Corp.’s Food Group and president of its subsidiary, Country Home Bakers, said he will resign from his posts effective Sept. 3. He will move to Bimbo Bakeries USA, which includes what was previously the U.S. fresh bakery business of Weston Foods, Inc. Mr. Melchiorre was senior vice-president of Weston Foods USA in 2006-07.

Mr. Melchiorre joined J&J Snack Foods on June 11, 2007, as executive vice-president. He also held the role of chief marketing officer. Prior to J&J Snack Foods he was with Weston Foods USA, and earlier he was senior vice-president of sales and chief marketing officer for the Tasty Baking Co. He previously spent more than 20 years at The Campbell Soup Co., where he held the positions of vice-president of marketing for Pepperidge Farm’s Biscuit and Cookie Division. Before that, he was business director of the company’s flagship Red & White Soup business.
