Alan Williams, author ofTeammates Matter, will explore the qualities and character needed to be a valued team member in today’s competitive world at the Early Bird Breakfast, sponsored by the Allied Trades of the Baking Industry (ATBI), on March 6 in Chicago, IL.

Mr. Williams’ story is not predicated on a game-winning shot or dramatic play. In fact, as a walk-on basketball player at Wake Forest, he only played 59 minutes during his four-year college career. Rather, he will examine how he developed a genuine love for the game and memories with teammates that go way beyond the box score in the morning paper and how creating such relationships can help businesses develop a better working culture at their companies. Mr. Williams has a special relationship to the baking industry as the son of Bowman Williams, president, BCW Food Products and an ATBI board member.

This special breakfast will be held in conjunction with the American Society of Baking’s annual BakingTech conference, March 4-7, at the Marriott Downtown Chicago Magnificent Mile hotel. Attendees can purchase ATBI breakfast tickets when registering for the BakingTech show atwww.asbe.org.
