NEW YORK ¬— An interview of celebrity spokesperson Teri Hatcher on the television show “The View” highlighted the New York media day for the Grain Foods Foundation on May 10. Kristin Patterson, vice-president and account director for Mullen, said “The View” reaches nearly 4 million viewers. She estimated at $180,000 the media value of the appearance on the show, which features Barbara Walters, Joy Behar and Elisabeth Hasselbeck.

Ms. Hatcher, who served as a co-host on the television show, may be seen discussing the G.F.F. at the following link:

“Teri did a fantastic job delivering our key messages while the images of our Bread Art web site were displayed on the screen,” Ms. Patterson said. “Also, producers at ‘The View’ posted an article focused on our Bread Art Project and Teri’s involvement on its web site, which reaches an additional 314,283 unique monthly visitors.”

Ms. Hatcher also did a taped interview for “The Wendy Williams Show,” which was scheduled to be broadcast by Fox on May 13.

The media day’s central event was a gathering of representatives of the media as well as bloggers.

“We had approximately 20 media and bloggers in attendance, including heavy hitters such as US Weekly, Hollywood Life and Health,” Ms. Patterson said. “Thus far, we’ve secured 90 million media impressions for the Bread Art Project as a result of our traditional and social media outreach efforts.”

The New York media day followed an event last month in Los Angeles, also involving Ms. Hatcher.
