ST. PAUL, MINN. — CHS Inc. said it will contribute $1.1 million to North Dakota flood relief efforts. As part of the donation, CHS said $1 million will go toward flood relief in North Dakota communities impacted by recent severe flooding, $50,000 will go to the American Red Cross to aid in flood relief efforts through the CHS Foundation, an independent, private foundation supported by CHS Inc., and $50,000 will go toward the CHS employees whose homes have been damaged by severe flooding in the Minot, N.D., area.

“We recognize the significant challenges faced by so many individuals and communities impacted by the recent flooding,” said Carl Casale, president and chief executive officer. “We hope these contributions will help those affected by this disaster as they begin to recover and restore their homes, farms and businesses.”

CHS provides agriculture and energy products and services to its member-owner farmers, locally-owned cooperatives and consumers throughout North Dakota.
