MIDLAND, ONT. — General Mills, Inc. said it has eliminated 38 jobs at its Pillsbury plant in Midland. The facility makes refrigerated and frozen dough products.

“We have made the difficult decision to restructure our Midland facility, resulting in the reduction of 38 positions,” said Sheila Kley, manager of corporate public relations for General Mills. “This move aligns our workforce to better reflect business needs and enables our Midland facility to stay competitive in the current operating environment. General Mills will provide severance benefits and transition services to affected employees.”
