YOUNTVILLE, CALIF. — Bouchon Bakery, a boutique baking business that supplies restaurants in the tony wine country community of Yountville, was damaged Sept. 15 by an early morning fire. Thomas Keller, the celebrated chef who owns the bakery, confirmed the fire in a Facebook posting. “While we are still investigating the cause, we are thankful that our team is safe,” Mr. Keller said. “The bakery will be closed while we make all necessary repairs. We hope to re-open as soon as possible.” The bakery produces a traditional Parisian baguette, muffins, pastries, cookies and viennoiserie. Mr. Keller operates a second Bouchon Bakery in New York.
