WOODINVILLE, WASH. — SaltWorks, Inc. has opened a 100,000-square-foot gourmet salt factory, which coincides with the company celebrating its 10-year anniversary. The new headquarters, which features more than $3 million in upgrades, includes an upgraded natural smoking facility that quadruples the company’s salt smoking capacity.

The factory will be a natural salt flavoring, smoking, cleaning, sizing and packaging facility. Woodinville-based SaltWorks offers more than 110 different varieties of gourmet salts.

“This is just the beginning,” said Mark Zoske, founder and chief executive officer. “We will continue to pioneer the natural salty industry and offer the best quality and most ground-breaking products possible. With the best technology out there, SaltWorks is able to not only innovate, but also to preserve the unique artistry of each specialty salt.”
