Brian Driscoll to c.e.o. of Diamond Foods

SAN FRANCISCO — Brian J. Driscoll has joined Diamond Foods, Inc. as president and chief executive officer.

Mr. Driscoll will replace Rick Wolford, a director who served as interim c.e.o. Mr. Driscoll was most recently c.e.o. of Hostess Brands. Prior to that, he was in executive positions with Kraft Foods Inc. and Nestle S.A.

“I am very optimistic about the future of Diamond Foods and look forward to working closely with our employees, the grower community and our customers to take Diamond’s business to another level,” Mr. Driscoll said. “Together we plan to build on the momentum of Diamond’s impressive brands to grow sales, increase market share and drive shareholder value.”
