Wild Flavors creates global innovation group

ZUG, SWITZERLAND — Wild Flavors GmbH has established a global research and innovation group at the company headquarters in Zug. The group is intended to be a cross-functional, cross-regional team that will focus on delivering a continual pipeline of concepts to the food and beverage marketplace.

“By bringing together the regional strengths and expertise of Wild into a global team, Wild will be able to expand our capabilities, capacity, creativity and expertise in many areas,” said Michael Ponder, chief executive officer of Wild Flavors.

Erik T. Donhowe will lead the global research and innovation team as chief global research and innovation officer. Dr. Donohowe has been with the Wild organization since April 2004. He previously was vice-president of the North American beverage business and North American chief operating officer.
