NORTHFIELD, ILL. — Bite-size Ritz Munchables Pretzel Chips and Back to Nature Gluten Free Rice Thin Crackers with 23 grams of whole grain per serving were among the new products unveiled as part of Kraft Foods exhibition at the 2010 Food Marketing Institute (F.M.I.) Show taking place in Las Vegas May 10-13.

The number of new products being showcased by Kraft under a “First to the Table” theme was wide ranging, including Kraft Homestyle Deluxe Macaroni & Cheese Dinners featuring real Kraft cheese sauce and crunchy bread crumb topping; the first Angus Beef selection in Oscar Mayer Deli Fresh Meats; bold new flavors of Cracker Barrel cheese; Mousse Temptations by Jell-O Mousse Snacks in a new sugar-free flavor — Chocolate Mint Sensation; and Kraft’s first-ever flavor changing gum, Stride Shift.

From a grain-based foods perspective, the list of new products unveiled included both the indulgent and the healthful. In addition to bite-size Ritz Munchables Pretzel Chips in two flavors (Buttery Flavor and Cheesy Sour Cream and Onion), Kraft introduced Corn Nut Chips in Hot Sauce & Limon, Santa Fe Ranch and Original favors; Oreo Fudge Cremes, a new cookie that features a crispy thin Oreo cookie topped with a layer of Oreo creme then covered with chocolate fudge; and Back to Nature Gluten Free Rice Thin Crackers with 23 grams of whole grain per serving.
