NEW YORK — KIND Healthy Snacks plans to introduce Minis, smaller portions of the original KIND bars. Minis will be available in August in four varieties: Fruit & Nut Delight, Almond Apricot, Almond Cashew and Cranberry Almond.

“We recognize that people today are more frequently eating on-the-go and we are excited to offer a convenient snack that packs the nutritional benefits of regular sized KIND bars into a few tasty bites,” said Daniel Lubetzky, chief executive officer of KIND. “The introduction of KIND minis demonstrates the growth and broad appeal of our brand as we continue to work to provide our fans with what they are asking for — more delicious ways to incorporate KIND into their life.”

Each 24-gram bar is less than 115 calories and contains approximately 3 grams of fiber and 3 grams of protein. KIND minis will be packaged in single-flavor 5-pack have a suggested retail price of $6.99 per box.
