Zumbro River Brand, Owatonna, Minn., has developed a line of whey crisps that range from 50% to 80% protein. Made using a proprietary extrusion process, the crisps have a crunchy texture and mild dairy flavor, which makes them a good fit for nutrition bars, according to Zumbro River Brand.
