SK Food introduces bean, pea and lentil powders

FARGO, N.D. — SK Food International has added organic and conventional precooked bean, pea and lentil powders and flakes to its line of ingredients. They offer a high-protein alternative to other ingredients that may have gluten or allergens, according to Fargo-based SK Food International.

The new powders and flakes blend with other ingredients and may be used in such applications as dips, chips, cereals, tortillas, snack foods, baby foods, flat breads, energy bars and soup bases.
