BASEL, SWITZERLAND — Tom Knutzen will become chief executive officer of Jungbunzlauer on April 2 after Hans-Jorg Gress retires as c.e.o. at the end of March. Mr. Knutzen was c.e.o. of Danisco until DuPont bought Danisco in 2011. Dr. Gress has been c.e.o. of Jungbunzlauer since 2003.

“Under his watch, Jungbunzlauer has grown and flourished into an even stronger, more profitable and focused group,” said Alexander Kahane, chairman of Jungbunzlauer, a producer of biodegradable ingredients of natural origin “All of us at Jungbunzlauer owe Dr. Gress, who will remain as consultant to the group, gratitude and respect for his achievements.”
