At IBIE 2016, bakers will have the chance to attend a record number of education sessions on a plethora of topics affecting the entire baking industry. Taking the opportunity to attend those sessions that most apply to your business should be something that every attendee should work into their busy schedules.

Some of the presenters, such as Todd Hale, former Nielsen executive, will provide the latest insights and relevant data on baking industry trends and how to identify opportunities for accelerating growth on Sunday, Oct. 9, at 8:30 a.m. in room N26 of the Las Vegas Convention Center. Later that day, the American Bakers Association’s government relations team will focus on how the upcoming elections, the new administration and the next Congress will affect bakers in 2017.

The A.B.A.’s panel of experts will zero in on those critical legislative and regulatory pocketbook issues that matter most to bakers, said Lee Sanders, A.B.A.’s senior vice-president, government relations and public affairs. She added the panel’s goal is to provide bottom-line information as well as answers to key questions that bakers can take from the session (also on Sunday, Oct. 9, at 11 a.m.in room N261) directly to the show floor as they talk to exhibitors about improving their operations going forward.
