ZURICH, SWITZERLAND — Barry Callebaut is selling its facility in Dijon, France, to Chocolaterie de Bourgogne. The transaction includes a 5-year contract to supply Barry Callebaut with liquid chocolate.

As a result of the divestiture, Barry Callebaut expects to report a one-time loss from the discontinued operation of about $70 million in fiscal year 2011-2012. The company said its decision to sell the Dijon facility is in line with its strategic focus on being a business to business supplier of chocolate ingredients and products.
