BERKELEY, CALIF. — Annie’s is adding a “child-friendly” pasta to its product line: Bernie’s Farm Macaroni & Cheese. The pasta is made with cheese and certified-organic pasta in a variety of shapes featuring life on the farm, including cows, tractors, barns, carrots and bunnies.

“At Annie's, we pride ourselves on providing delicious comfort foods made with real, wholesome ingredients parents can feel good about serving their families,” said Sarah Bird, senior vice-president of marketing and chief “mom” officer for Annie’s. “Our pasta products have been a meal staple for decades, so we’re thrilled to introduce a fun new version that reinforces a connection to where our ingredients come from — the farm.”

The pasta contains 8 grams of whole grains per serving and will be available nationwide this spring for a suggested retail price of $2.09.
