Make plans now to attend this year’s premier event for the grain-based food industry, as registration recently opened for the International Baking Industry Exposition (IBIE) 2013. The triennial event will be held Oct. 6-9 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, Las Vegas.

IBIE will feature more than 700 exhibitors covering around 500,000 sq ft of space, and it will host top-quality education programs to help bakers further their knowledge and advance their careers.
With the theme “All Together Now,” the four-day event will serve as the place to make important connections and build relationships.

Attendees can make it a one-stop destination for discovering the latest in bakery production equipment, ingredients, packaging materials, sanitation equipment, transportation and distribution systems, and much more.

Baking Expo is jointly sponsored by the American Bakers Association (ABA), BEMA and the Retail Bakers of America, and members of these partnering associations can receive a $50 discount by preregistering for the show. Additionally, anyone will save $30 on the shows regular price by registering before the start of IBIE. To register or for more information, visit www.ibie2013.com.

Additionally, IBIE organizers are offering a corporate meeting program for companies that want to hold their annual meetings in conjunction with Baking Expo. It can assist with hotel planning, provide complimentary meeting space and even tailor educational programs for businesses. For more information about this program, contact Matt Grogg, director of meetings and education at ABA, atmgrogg@americanbakers.org.
