FITCHBURG, WIS. — Glanbia Nutritionals Ingredient Technologies, a global innovator in value-added protein and flaxseed ingredients, broke ground on Feb. 11 on a 40,000-square-foot cereal ingredient processing facility in Sioux Falls, S.D. The Sioux Falls location will replace the company’s plant in Angusville, Man., which was destroyed by fire in March 2012.

The new facility in Sioux Falls will produce MeadowPure Quality whole and milled flaxseed ingredients as well as other seed and grain products. The facility is expected to be operational by July 2013.

Glanbia Nutritionals Ingredient Technologies develops, manufactures and sells ingredients to food, beverage and supplement manufacturers. It is part of Glanbia Nutritionals, which is owned by Ireland-based Glanbia P.L.C.
