DALLAS — Cain Food Industries, Inc., a supplier to the wholesale and retail baking industries, has expanded its research and development center and bake shop.

“As we continue to grow we are investing in our facilities to provide the highest level of support to our customers” said Gary Cain, president of Cain Food Industries Inc. “The expanded area gives us more working area to bring customers into our facility and work side by side on projects with them. It has already proved to be very beneficial.”

The newly expanded area is now over 3,000 square feet and is equipped with all the essential bakery equipment and analytical tools needed in today’s baking processes, Cain Food said.

In addition, Cain Food said the expanded R.&D. center and bake shop allow the company to continue to develop new functional ingredients to serve the needs of the grain-based foods industry and allow it to expand on its efforts to help customers to develop new finished baked goods.

“Our teams of bakery experts are continually developing products such as our new pretzel bun base and clean label dough conditioners designed to help move our customers through the product development curve more quickly,” Cain Food said.
