ANOKA, MINN. — John Anderson has been named president of DecoPac, Inc.

Mr. Anderson has been with DecoPac for 17 years and formerly held the position of executive vice-president. Prior to joining DecoPac, he worked for The Pillsbury Co. in several positions of progressively increasing responsibility. Earlier, he worked with Burlington Northern.

“Our board of directors is excited to elect John to lead DecoPac to bigger and better things in the world of cake decorating,” said Mike McGlynn, chief executive officer of DecoPac. “John has demonstrated the skills, knowledge, and ability that make him the perfect person for the position. He has been directly involved in all aspects of the company’s ongoing success, including strategic acquisitions and partnerships, internal growth and innovation, market and product line expansion.”

Mr. Anderson received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Wisconsin, River Falls, and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Minnesota. In addition, he is a certified public accountant.
