SCOTTSDALE, ARIZ. — Mark Huston, the director of North America transportation for Louis Dreyfus Commodities L.L.C. in Kansas City, has been elected chairman of the Transportation, Elevator and Grain Merchants Association.

Mr. Huston was elected Jan. 23 during the TEGMA annual meeting in Scottsdale. He succeeds Todd McQueen of The Scoular Co., who completed two one-year terms as chairman of the group.

Previously, Mr. Huston served as first vice-chairman of TEGMA for two years. Succeeding him in this role will be Brian Mehrmann of Gavilon Grain, Kansas City. Elected second vice-chairman for 2014 will be Ryan Pellett, president and chief executive officer of J.K. Heiskell & Co.

Elected by TEGMA to three-year terms on the board were Pete Goetzmann, Archer Daniels Midland Co., Kansas City; Scott Mills, Lansing Trade Group, Overland Park, Kas.; and Mr. Mehrmann.

Staff officers from TEGMA are Bob Petersen, president; Bruce Benschoter, director of member services, and Erica Venancio, secretary-treasurer.
