BakingTech gets competitive

Next year’s BakingTech Conference will see the addition of some friendly competition. The American Society of Baking (A.S.B.) introduced a Product Development Competition, the final round of which will be decided at BakingTech 2015 in March. The competition aims to facilitate the development of innovative bakery products for the wholesale baking industry.

Teams may compete in two categories: industry professionals and students. Entries must include a proposal for a new bakery product. Judges will evaluate the entries’ potential for success in today’s market and the technical problem solving skills used in product development.
