Bimbo receives grant for C.N.G. vehicles

HARRISBURG, PA. — Pennsylvania Governor Tom Corbett announced nearly $4 million in Alternative Fuel Incentive Grants to different local governments, non-profit organizations and companies making the switch to compressed natural gas (C.N.G.), propane, or electric for delivery vehicles.

Horsham, Pa.-based Bimbo Bakeries USA received four grants totaling $789,750 to convert a total of 81 vehicles to C.N.G.

A.F.I.G. grants are doled out annually to provide financial incentive to reduce air emissions in Pennsylvania.
