SAN FRANCISCO — A complete cracker production line and pastry line, as well as bread and roll equipment, will be up for sale as part of a public auction being conducted by Rabin Worldwide. The auction of the remaining assets at the former Dobake bakery plant in Oakland, Calif., will take place on Oct. 22. A complete listing of the assets is available at www.rabin.com.

Dobake Bakeries Inc. has been a part of Oakland’s industrial manufacturing district since moving into the shuttered Mother’s Cookies plant in 2006. Dobake produced fresh and frozen products such as bread and rolls, brownies, muffins, breakfast pastries, raw dough and seasonal pastries. They also acted as a contract packager for Costco, Trader Joe’s, Food Max, Grocery Outlet, Safeway and several California school districts. Dobake made the decision to close the Oakland facility earlier this year.

In addition to the complete cracker production line and pastry line and bread and roll equipment, Rabin will auction thousands of baking pans and packaging equipment, as well as general plant items, including pallet racking, forklifts, shop equipment, computers and office furniture.

A public preview will be held at the facility from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Oct. 21.

Rabin Worldwide employs a host of solutions, including auctions, liquidations, asset-based lending, turn-key operations, environmentally challenged real estate acquisition, and more.
