Taste of Nature acquires licensing agreement for Mrs. Fields Cookies

BROOMFIELD, COLO. — Famous Brands International, Broomfield, the parent company of Mrs. Fields Cookies, and snack manufacturer Taste of Nature, Inc., Santa Monica, Calif., announced a new licensing partnership for Mrs. Fields-branded pre-packaged cookies.

Starting Jan. 1, 2018, Taste of Nature will become responsible for manufacturing, selling and distributing Mrs. Fields cookies, including both every day and seasonal varieties for the grocery and retail channels in North America and more than 20 countries globally.

Mrs. Fields opened its first store in 1977 and currently sells products at more than 300 retail locations globally and on-line. It also licenses its trademarks, logos and recipes to third parties for distribution. The new partnership with Taste of nature was sought out in an effort to grow the brand within the retail channel.
