SCOTTSDALE, ARIZ. — Sandwich chain Blimpie is putting some new grain-based foods items on its menu. The Scottsdale-based chain has begun offering an Everything Bread, a sub roll made with a mix of sesame and poppy seeds and Montreal seasoning, as well as a Berry Bliss cookie, which combines strawberries, blueberries and white chocolate chips. Steve Evans, vice-president of marketing for Blimpie, said the Everything Italian promotion and Berry Bliss cookie introduction show the company’s commitment to offering customers new and bold flavors.

“With the Everything Italian promotion, we’ll be able to offer our customers that perfect combination they crave — the signature meats and cheeses they love on brand new bread filled with delicious spices,” Mr. Evans said. “And they’ll be able to finish off the meal with the new Berry Bliss cookie, combining the flavors of fruit and white chocolate.”
