CORONA, CALIF. — Food For Life Baking Co. Inc. has introduced Ezekiel 4:9 bread with sprouted flax. The bread, which is made with the same sprouted, certified organic live grains as found in the original Ezekiel 4:9 bread (wheat, barley, beans, lentils, millet, and spelt), now includes sprouted flax seeds.

According to Food For Life, the bread provides an “excellent” source of omega 3 and 6 essential fatty acids.

Ezekiel 4:9 Sprouted Flax Bread is 100% flourless and free of conditioners, additives, artificial flavors, colors and preservatives. It also is made with filtered water and no added fat and is low-glycemic, diabetic-friendly, pH-balanced and kosher-certified. Each slice contains 90 mg of omega 3 fatty acids, 5 grams of protein, 4 grams of dietary fiber and 18 amino acids from vegetable sources.

Food for Life’s Ezekiel 4:9 Sprouted Flax Bread is available at natural food stores for a suggested retail price of $4.09.
