Bob’s Red Mill launches gluten-free muesli cereal

PORTLAND, ORE. — Bob’s Red Mill Natural Foods, Inc., a provider of whole grain foods, has introduced Gluten Free Muesli.

“Muesli has long been one of our most popular products, and we are constantly hearing from our customers that they wish there were a gluten-free version,” said Bob Moore, founder, president and chief executive officer of Bob’s Red Mill. “It’s such a healthy blend of ingredients, and such a versatile product. I enjoy it the traditional Swiss way, soaking it in the fridge over-night in milk or yogurt and topping it with fresh apple.”

Bob’s Red Mill Gluten Free Muesli is a mix of whole grain gluten-free rolled oats, sunflower and pumpkin seeds, dried cranberries and apples, brown rice puffs, almonds and coconut. The mix may be eaten as a hot or cold breakfast cereal, and it includes protein, fiber, vitamins and minerals. Each serving provides 17 grams or more of whole grains, a significant amount of the recommended daily whole grain intake of 48 grams.

Bob’s Red Mill Gluten Free Muesli is available in 16-oz bags (four to a case) with a suggested retail price of $5.99. Twenty-five-lb bulk bags are also available.
