DENVER — Udi’s Gluten Free Foods is introducing five new gluten-free products, including new tortillas, muffins and bagels, this November. The products were unveiled Sept. 19 at the Natural Products Expo East in Baltimore.

The company has created plain tortillas in 6-inch and 9-inch varieties for a suggested retail price of $6.29 and $7.29, respectively. According to Udi’s, soft tortillas are the top requested item among its consumers.

The two new bagels that will be introduced are the Everything Inside Bagel and the Mighty Bagel. The Everything Inside Bagel contains poppy seeds, onion, salt, garlic, millet and flaxseeds. The Mighty Bagel combines cranberry, quinoa, sunflower seeds and pepitas.

The company’s new muffins will be available in Harvest Crunch and Double Vanilla. The Harvest Crunch Muffin has quinoa, cranberry, sweet potato and pepitas and contains 25% of the recommended daily value of vitamin A in each serving. The Double Vanilla Muffins features sweet, creamy vanilla, and the moist, fluffy texture means it can double as a cupcake, according to Udi’s.

“Any time Udi’s creates something new, it’s in response to the needs and requests of our fans,” said Denise Sirovatka, vice-president of marketing. “We love bringing their ideas to life for a more enjoyable, fulfilling eating experience.”
