Einstein's Thintastic Bagels have 35% fewer calories

LAKEWOOD, COLO. — Einstein Noah Restaurant Group will feature new Thintastic Bagels in its “Smart Choices” menu, the company said Jan. 2. The bagels have 35% fewer calories than regular Einstein bagels and come in the three flavors of plain, whole wheat and “everything.” The Thintastic Bagels may be included in Einstein’s regular breakfast and lunch sandwiches. Einstein also has introduced a Greek yogurt parfait made with Dannon Oikos Greek yogurt. To celebrate the Thintastic Bagel and the “Smart Choices” menu, Einstein Noah Restaurant Group will ring the opening bell at NASDAQ Jan. 8 as part of “Fit Week.”

Lakewood-based Einstein Noah Restaurant Group, a quick-casual chain, operates, franchises and licenses locations under the Einstein Bros., Noah’s New York Bagels and Manhattan Bagels brands. “Smart Choices” menus are available at Einstein Bros. Bagels and Noah’s New York Bagels. Manhattan Bagel will offer Thintastic Bagels as part of its “Lighter Side” menu. The retail system of Einstein Noah Restaurant Group consists of more than 840 restaurants in 41 states and the District of Columbia.
