Rudi’s debuts organic pretzel rolls

BOULDER, COLO. — Rudi’s Organic Bakery has introduced Organic Pretzel Rolls, a product the company said is the only certified-U.S. Department of Agriculture organic pretzel roll on the market.
“People love our organic soft pretzels and our organic hamburger buns, so it made sense to combine the two just in time for grilling season,” said Denise Day, senior marketing manager for Rudi’s Organic Bakery, Inc.
The pretzel rolls are made with organic wheat flour, water, organic brown sugar, yeast, sea salt, organic wheat gluten, cultured organic wheat starch, organic whole wheat flour, ascorbic acid and baking soda.
Each roll has 7 grams of protein.
Rudi’s Organic Bakery was acquired earlier this year by The Hain Celestial Group, Inc. for $61.3 million.
