The sweet and tart flavor of cranberries adds an extra zing to the classic cereal, according to Kellogg.

BATTLE CREEK, MICH. — The Kellogg Co. is putting a new twist on a classic cereal with the launch of Kellogg’s Raisin Bran with Cranberries. According to Kellogg, the cranberries add “an extra zing with its new sweet and tart flavor to get the morning going.”

Every serving of the new Kellogg’s Raisin Bran with Cranberries and one half cup of skim milk contain 5 grams of fiber, serve as an excellent source of antioxidant vitamin E, contain 15% of the Daily Value for calcium, and contain 8 grams of protein.

“People have been telling us that they are searching for breakfasts that contain more health benefits like antioxidants, and specifically would like to see cranberries in our cereals,” said Jeremy Harper, senior director of marketing for Kellogg’s Morning Foods. “We know that adults in particular are looking for a nutritious breakfast, but aren’t willing to sacrifice on taste or flavor — and with our delicious addition to the Kellogg’s Raisin Bran line, they don’t have to.”
