DALLAS — Gregg Koffler has been promoted to vice-president of franchise sales at Corner Bakery Cafe. In his new role, he will be responsible for the overall sales and growth of the franchise division. He most recently was director of franchise sales for the Western U.S.
“I’m incredibly excited about the opportunity to direct the expansion of Corner Bakery Cafe’s franchise growth,” Mr. Koffler said. “We have an exceptional franchise sales team already in place, and with a $2.3 million A.U.V. and excellent unit-level economics, Corner Bakery Cafe has established itself as a leading brand in the fastest growing segment of the restaurant industry. I look forward to the tremendous opportunities to grow the brand through franchised cafes while the company also continues to invest in cafe development.”
Mr. Koffler has six years of hospitality franchise experience as a director of franchise sales at Global Hyatt’s U.S. Franchise Systems, now Wyndham Worldwide. Prior to Wyndham, he was a managing partner with Scottsdale Mortgage Professionals and president of Southwest Litigation Support.
“Gregg is the perfect choice to lead Corner Bakery Cafe’s franchise sales team at this stage in our growth,” said Gary Price, president of Corner Bakery Cafe. “With 288 committed and unfulfilled cafes, more than 61 of those signed just in the last 60 days, the exceptional caliber of franchisees Gregg and the rest of the sales team have been attracting to the brand is a testament to the tremendous growth potential ahead.”
