Packaging industry veteran joins Harpak-ULMA

TAUNTON, MASS. — Ken Poxon has joined Harpak-ULMA Packaging as national sales manager for Canada. Harpak-ULMA is a packaging machinery and integrated systems supplier to the meat, snack, cheese, produce, prepared meals, bakery and medical industries.

Most recently, Mr. Poxon was territory sales manager in Canada for Marel, Inc. Earlier he spent 15 years in the packaging industry working for leading packaging and processing equipment suppliers, such as Multivac and Edson Packaging.

“Ken’s experience in both the packaging industry and specifically food and non-food market segments makes him a great fit for our team,” said Jan Erik Kuhlmann, president of Harpak-ULMA. “Ken’s understanding of integrated packaging lines allows him to provide value to Harpak-ULMA’s customer base seamlessly and immediately. As Harpak-ULMA grows into Canada, the company is excited to kick off the new year with Ken on its team.”
