RICHVALE, CALIF. — Renee Thresher and Todd Kluger have been named to new positions at Lundberg Family Farms, a producer of organic rice and rice products.

Ms. Thresher has been promoted to vice-president of manufacturing. She most recently was corporate quality systems manager since joining the company in August 2010.

In her new role, Ms. Thresher will continue to provide strategic leadership and direction of all technical, quality, food safety and regulatory programs and will add oversight responsibility for all manufacturing and production functions for the family-owned company. Before joining Lundberg Family Farms, she spent six years as plant manager and director of technical services for Treetop/Sabroso. She earlier spent nine years at General Mills, Inc., where she was QRO product manager, quality manager, senior quality engineer, quality engineer and sensory technical specialist.

Mr. Kluger, meanwhile, has been promoted to the newly created position of vice-president of sales and marketing. He has been vice-president of marketing since April 2009.

Since joining Lundberg, Mr. Kluger has overseen rebranding and product line expansion initiatives that introduced new packaging across the company’s rice product and snack lines, and has collaborated on the introduction of several new product lines and line extensions. In his new role, Mr. Kluger will be responsible for managing the company’s national sales network and building relationships with distributors across North America.
