ATLANTA — Jeff Boser has joined CSM Bakery Products as senior vice-president of sales. He succeeds Bill Day, who plans to retire after more than 10 years with the company. Mr. Day will remain on the executive team for the next several months to ensure a seamless transition for customers and sales professionals.

Mr. Boser joins CSM from Kellogg Co. where he was senior vice-president of retail. He joined Keebler Co. in 1996 (Keebler was acquired by Kellogg in 2000). While at Kellogg, he held various positions, including director of regional marketing and accounts; vice-president of sales, Massachusetts; vice-president of sales for the Central Region; and senior vice-president of sales for the U.S. Earlier, he was with Heublein Wines and Frito-Lay.

He received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from John Carroll University in Ohio.

“I am confident that Jeff’s leadership experience and ability to drive results will support the development of our sales force and elevate category growth within the fresh bakery and with our foodservice partners,” said Bret Weaver, president and chief executive officer of CSM North America.

Rhone Capital L.L.C. acquired the bakery supplies businesses of CSM n.v. for approximately $1,361 million in 2013. The acquisition included the European Bakery Supplies and North American Bakery Supplies businesses (excluding Caravan Ingredients) as well as the international bakery supplies activities. Rhone Capital also acquired the CSM brand name.
