COLUMBIA, MD. — The board of directors of the Biscuit & Cracker Manufacturers’ Association has established a search committee to find a new president to succeed Stacey Sharpless, who will conclude her 17-year career with the B.&C.M.A. in the next few months.

The members of the committee are Ray Frawley, Mondel?z International; Chris Wilkins, ConAgra Foods; Todd Wallen, Ellison Bakery; and Bill Quigg, Richmond Baking.

“Stacey has had a very positive impact on our organization, and we certainly wish her continued success in her future endeavors,” said Mr. Quigg, who is chairman of the search committee. “To be clear, this change will not impact the job security of the other B.&C.M.A. staff members in the foreseeable future.”

He continued, “We believe it is very important that our future president be a current member of the cookie and cracker industry, as an industry expert will best serve our membership and understand our offerings and their application.”

The committee will be accepting resumes through a link on the B.&C.M.A. web site at www.thebcma.org/association-president-job-position/.

The organization said it hopes to have the process complete in the next 1 to 2 months and have the individual start on the job soon thereafter.
